Shri Sanjeev shantkumar doshi, was awarded a medal and Citation at New Delhi recently !


IN THE "KALEIDO  S C O P E MAGAZINE",  'SCOPE'  STANDS FOR STANDING CONFERENCE OF PUBLIC ENTERPRISES ,  AN ARTICLE WRITTEN BY : SANJEEV SHANTKUMAR DOSHI, CHIEF MANAGER, (HRD), AND  ASHWIN KAMBLE, MANAGER, (HR)

RASHTRIYA CHEMICALS AND FERTILIZERS LTD;  IS ONE OF THE PREMIER FERTILIZERS COMPANIES IN INDIA. 

WHEN THE EMPLOYEES ARE ILL AND ARE FOR PROLONGED MEDICAL TREATMENT AND UNABLE TO SUPPORT HIS/HER FAMILY BECAUSE OF  THE LACK OF LEAVE RESERVES THE COMPANY INTRODUCED THE UNIQUE 'LEAVE BANK' CONCEPT RECENTLY. THE DETAILS ARE AS FOLLOWS :

SHRI. MAHESH WAS ONE SUCH UNFORTUNATE BUT A DEDICATED EMPLOYEE OF RCF, MET WITH NEAR FATAL ACCIDENT  18 MONTHS AGO. ON THE HIGH WAY, A STONE'S THROW AWAY FROM OUR CORPORATE  OFFICE. THIS MISHAP WOULD NORMALLY HAVE SPELT DISASTER FOR HIS YOUNG WIFE AND COLLEGE GOING DAUGHTER  THE COMPANY TOOK CARE,  SO THAT MAHESH'S FAMILY DOES NOT SUFFER FOR WANT OF FINANCE.

WHEN AN EMPLOYEE EXHAUSTED HIS LEAVE BALANCE, HE WAS ALLOWED TO DRAW  AND UTILISE LEAVE THAT IS BANKED BY OTHER EMPLOYEES OF THE COMPANY. MAHESH WOULD IN NORMAL CIRCUMSTANCES, HAVE GONE WITH OUT PAY. CAUSING DIRE STRAITS ON HIS FAMILY MEMBERS.  THANKS TO THE LEAVE BANK SCHEME, OF THE COMPANY. 

JUST A LOOK ON THE ELIGIBILITY :

EMPLOYEES WHO HAVE COMPLETED ATLEAST ONE YEAR'S SERVICE, ARE ELIGIBLE TO DONATE THEIR ONE DAY'S TO THE LEAVE BANK .

CRITERIA OF AVAILING THE FACILITY :

1. HAVE EXHAUSTED ALL AWAILABLE LEAVES, DUE TO A SERIOUS AND PROLONGED MEDICL CONDITION.

2. SHOUILD POSSESS A GOOD WORKING RECORD INCLUDING THE  PAST ATTENDACE, DISCIPLINEAND ATTENDENCE. BUT  EMPLOYEES  WITH BAD OFFICIAL RECORDS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THE SCHEME.

OVERALL BENEFITS :

1. BASIC PAY, DA AND  HOUSE RENT ALLOWANCES ARE PAID TO THE EMPLOYEES.
. THE MONTHLY RECOVERIES LIKE, PF, GROUP SAVINGS, LINKED INSURANCE SCHEMES, PENSION ETC;

3.PROVISION FOR THE FAMILY FUTURE NEEDS :

THE TOTAL LEAVE CREDITED TO EMPLOYEES : 4,785 DAYS, (MORE THAN 13 YEARS OF MAN DAYS)

EMPLOYEES LOOS A DAY IN THEIR LEAVE ACCOUNT,; BUT THE COMPANY LOOSES NOTHING.

THIS SCHEME  IS BEING APPRECIATED BY ALL THE CORPORATE COMPANIES, AND SLOWLY BEING OPTED BY MOST OF THEM.

It is a a new concept. started. SCOPE has attracted many multinational cos. I four years, 9 people have been benefited. Overseas participants,Trained 4 batches, and 31 people and 12 batches. 7 women and out of which one physically impaired.
